Q: Why Vegas?
A: Why not Vegas?

(Actually, we picked it on purpose.)

We operate one of the biggest treatment centers in the country here, and we know first hand that Las Vegas has one of the largest, most visible, and most active recovery communities in the nation.

Wherever there are a lot of people feeding their addictions, you’ll also find a lot of people hungry for recovery. Where else can you find hundreds of meetings every day (even at 3 a.m.) or tons of fun, sober group activities 24/7?

Come find out why Las Vegas is one of the best places in the world to be clean and sober.

Hear from Desert Hope Alumni Coordinator Chris Boutte about living clean and sober in Las Vegas.

But this man still lives, and is a free man. He does not need a bodyguard nor is he confined. He can go anywhere on this earth where other free men may go without disaster, provided he remains willing to maintain a certain simple attitude.

I’m in. What else do I need to know?

Check our list of FAQ’s or contact us with your questions any time!

Where do I stay?

Contact us for a list of nearby affordable hotels. You can also save a lot of money by splitting the cost with another alum, taking shuttles or the monorail instead of renting a car, and checking online for discount codes when you book your room.

How much does it cost?

Registration for the conference is absolutely FREE and includes two meals, snacks and drinks every day. Plan on us picking up the tab for at least one group dinner, and we’ll cover admission fees for any other planned activities. At the very least, you’ll be responsible for two meals, incidentals, lodging, and travel.

What kind of group activities are planned?

We’re in the process of putting together a fun schedule of group activities, but the details depend on how many people register. We’re thinking bonfire, dinner, shopping, Old Vegas, maybe even a hike in the desert. Join our mailing list or like us on Facebook to get updates as the schedule takes shape. Don’t worry — we’ll keep you busy!

I’m local. Can I just come for a few group activities?

We strongly encourage you to take advantage of the entire 3-day experience. This conference is equally about getting and giving support, and that means everyone must participate fully to achieve both.

Who can I bring?

Your FREE registration includes a free plus-one as well. Bring someone close to you who supports your recovery: your spouse, parent, friend, or sibling.

What is Lifestyle Intervention Conference? Do I need to go?

Your FREE registration includes admission to our annual professional conference held at the same time, also at the Bellagio. LIC6 workshops are open to all alumni. If you’re a behavioral health professional or addictions community leader, this is a huge perk! Learn more about the conference here.
